Teela is a prominent character in the Masters of the Universe franchise, first appearing in the animated series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (1983). She serves as the Captain of the Royal Guard at the palace of Eternos, fiercely loyal to King Randor and dedicated to protecting the kingdom.
Teela is a skilled warrior, highly trained in combat and strategy. Unbeknownst to her for much of the series, she is the adopted daughter of Duncan, the Man-At-Arms, and possesses a powerful secret heritage.
Her true origins eventually reveal her to be the daughter of the Sorceress of Castle Grayskull, destined to inherit the mantle and protect the secrets of Grayskull. Throughout the series, Teela remains a strong and independent female character, often acting as a voice of reason and challenging He-Man when necessary.
